BROADWAY INSPIRATIONAL VOICES: ARTS & EDUCATION PROGRAMS: OUR TEAM

Music isn’t just our gift, it’s our SERVICE!

Angela Grovey, Executive Director, BIV Arts & Education Program w/ BIV Choir members at Covenant House NY

“I have the honor of working with some of the most talented and giving artists this world has to offer. We are a diverse TEAM of artists with very impressive resumes and shiny credits...lol! But I think the greatest quality about this group is their desire to give back to the world through the power of MUSIC and SERVICE. The Arts changed my life when I was a kid and since then, I’ve always known that sharing The Arts would be part of my life. One of my biggest breakthrough moments happened because of my acting teacher in high school while I was struggling with a major life change. My teacher allowed me to step into a character's shoes for a bit of time and escape my personal challenges. I was supported in a safe environment that I could freely explore, dream, and create while drawing, singing, and moving my body. Now, to be able to watch people that I work with have breakthrough moments of their own through our programs is one of the great joys in life. It's only been made sweeter by getting to work with this inspiring TEAM.”
